Kylian Mbappe Reveals Which Premier League Side He Could Have Joined
New Paris Saint-Germain signing Kylian Mbappe has revealed which team in the Premier League he considered moving to in the recent transfer window.
The 18-year-old's loan deal with PSG is expected to be made permanent next season, but his future could have been a lot different had he chosen a different path.
Mbappe, who scored for France on international duty last week, has admitted that joining Arsenal was a big possibility prior to his move to Les Parisiens.
"Yes, I met with Arsene Wenger, who is a great coach," he told The Telegraph.
"He has a great reputation here in France, he's well-respected and knows how to develop young players.
"This was a real option for me. But, of course, Paris Saint-Germain was the main option.
"We weighed up the advantages and disadvantages of all the clubs, but my family told me it had to be my decision and one I needed to make.
"It also had to be a long-term decision. So it was up to me and I decided to come here in order to develop."
Mbappe made 60 appearances for Monaco before moving to PSG, scoring 27 goals and assisting 16 strikes along the way.
