Zinedine Zidane Comments On Real Madrid's Poor Pre-Season

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has spoken about his team's poor pre-season form.

Reports: Barca Eye French Star As No. 1 Replacement For Neymar

The Frenchman's men have won just one of their four pre-season matches, and he has admitted that he feels the best thing for his side now is for them to get some rest before their next fixture.

"It's a little bit of everything," he said in trying to explain Los Blancos' pre-season struggles, according to ESPN.

"We started poorly, especially with results, and sometimes we hit a bad streak in those four matches.

"What I want and what everyone wants is to get back home and have a little bit of a rest."

Zidane also said that Real have some things to work on ahead of their UEFA Super Cup clash against Manchester United on 8 August.

"The tour is done, now we have four days to go back and prepare for the Super Cup, which is our first official match, and obviously we have some things to work out," he added.

Reports: Mbappe Ready To Quit Monaco

Real beat the MLS All-Stars via a penalty shootout on Thursday morning – their only victory in pre-season.
