Luis Suarez Talks Of His Goal Scoring Woes

By Keegan Kruger - Oct 01, 2017 02:07 PM @KeeganKruger

Although FC Barcelona have started off the season brightly, Uruguay international Luis Suarez has struggled to frequently find the back of the net and has now opened up about his goalscoring woes.

Click through the mini-gallery above to see who are FC Barcelona’s top five goalscorers this season, according to transfermarkt.

The 30-year-old, who scored a total of 37 goals for the Blaugrana last season, has only managed two so far this season, with none of them coming in the UEFA Champions League.

After the Catalan side’s 1-0 win against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday night, Suarez told members of the media that he was not concerned about his lack of goals in this campaign, but was more interested in how the team was performing under their new coach.

“It does not matter that I didn’t score,” Suarez is quoted as saying by Marca.

“The important aspect was our performance helped to take the three points in a complicated match, we have to adapt to what is happening in the game and the Coach knows how to use me.

“The season has started well and Barcelona are fighting for winning in every competition we are in, the new Coach is fantastic.”

Barca Star: I Have A Good Relationship With Ronaldo

Suarez has made 154 appearances for Barcelona so far, scoring 123 goals and assisting in a further 72 more.

I think he has reached his sell by date. He has run out of flavour. Barcelona should start looking for a replacement. The sooner the better.
