Kylian Mbappe Reveals What He Told Barca’s Record Signing
Paris Saint-Germain new boy Kylain Mbappe has revealed what he told FC Barcelona’s record signing Ousmane Dembele before making his move to the Camp Nou.
The 20-year-old, Dembele, saw the Spanish giants pay Borussia Dortmund €150 million (R2.31 billion) for him, making him the third most expensive player in the world.
At his unveiling, Mbappe told the media that he advised his international teammates to join the Catalan club, as it would be a wonderful opportunity for him.
“We talked about his future, and he asked me what I thought he should do, so I told him to go there (to Barcelona) because it was a fantastic chance for him,” Mbappe told Footmercato.
“He has the potential to go and become a great player alongside Messi and Suarez in the attack. He's going to improve a lot – he possesses incredible talent, but he can make another step up.”
FC Barcelona reportedly brought Dembele in to replace Neymar, who left in the same window for PSG.
