Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri was linked with a €40 million (R630 million) move to the Camp Nou last month, but negotiations apparently broke down because the Ligue 1 side refused to lower their asking price.
There have been claims the Blaugrana would try to sign the 26-year-old in the next window, but according to the Ivorian, he will be going nowhere until June 2018 at least.
"Regardless of any club asking for me this winter, I won't leave Nice before June," Seri said, as quoted by ESPN.
"The summer fallout? It will take more than that to change my mind – a top-level footballer can't afford to continue thinking about that sort of thing.
"It is now history, and you need to look to the future and to making history with this club."
Seri has made eight appearances for Nice so far this season, assisting four goals along the way.
