Transfer Update: Mario Balotelli

There has been lots of speculation surrounding Mario Balotelli's immediate playing future – here is the latest news and developments.

Official: African Announced As Klopp's First 2017/18 Transfer

After disappointing spells at Liverpool and AC Milan, the 26-year-old seems to have found a new home at Ligue 1 outfit Nice. The striker, who signed a one-year deal with the French club last season, will soon be out of contract and it is not yet known what is next for the forward.

With Balotelli's contract set to expire next week, Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere has revealed that the player is willing to take a financial sacrifice to stay with the French side next season.

"I'll only say two things about Mario," Rivere said, as quoted by FourFourTwo.

"The first is that we have a player who wants to stay in Nice.

"The second is that he's ready to make the financial effort and we're continuing to work."

It has been reported that Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are also interested signing "Super Mario" on a free, while there are also said to be a few offers from the MLS.

Balotelli made 28 appearances for Nice last season, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.

he signed the deal with Nice when no one wanted him, that make me think he was forced to financial sacrifice already, so it is clear now he will be volunteering straight...he is a better player that that season they signed him so they were supoz to increase his pay or else he must just go because more teams wants him than before
