Reports: Pep Guardiola's Manchester City Frontrunners To Land Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have reportedly become favourites to sign Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.

Chelsea Star's Agent Confirms He Is In Regular Contact With Real

According to the Daily Mirror, the Citizens are now the firm favourites to sign the Chilean as Bayern Munich have apparently pulled out of the race due to his growing transfer fee.

The London club are expected to demand about £50 million (R842 million) for the forward, even though he is about to go into the final year of his current deal.

The 28-year-old is yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners as he is apparently unhappy with the wages the club is offering.

Sanchez wants to be made either Arsenal's or Bayern Munich's top earner, and it is this expectation that has seemingly chased away the Bavarian giants.

City are believed to be willing to do whatever it takes to land the attacker, and it has also been rumoured that the Arsenal superstar is keen to work alongside Guardiola again.

The Chilean made 51 appearances for Arsenal last season, scoring 30 goals and assisting 19 further strikes in all competitions.

I wish Man City get him. It would be a great signing for Pep.
