Reports: La Liga Will Not Accept Paris Saint-Germain's Bid For Neymar
The LFP, commonly known as La Liga, will reportedly not accept the money Paris Saint-Germain are said to be willing to pay to trigger Neymar's release clause.
According to Sport English, the Spanish authority will not accept the payment because of "contractual problems" and "potential Financial Fair Play rule breakage".
La Liga chief Javier Tebas believes that the French club cannot make the deal happen without breaking Financial Fair Play regulations, and hinted that he will report them to world football governing body FIFA if they do.
"Although PSG didn't pay the clause, we will denounce them," Tebas told Sport.
"We advised the PSG president what we were going to do and we saw PSG's policy continue along the same line.
"They cannot make a number in which their commercial rights are greater than those of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Nobody believes this."
Reports suggest that sources close to the Camp Nou are aware that the league may stall the Brazilian's world record move, possibly giving them more time to try to convince him to stay.
Neymar has won two La Liga titles and one UEFA Champions League crown since joining the Blaugrana from Santos in 2013.
