Reports: Dani Alves Has Snubbed Pep Guardiola's Manchester City To Join...
Former FC Barcelona and Juventus star Dani Alves has reportedly snubbed a move to Manchester City and agreed to sign for another club.
According to French publication L’Equipe, the Brazilian has agreed a deal with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The 34-year-old looked certain to join up with his former manager Pep Guardiola at the Citizens after his contract with Juventus was mutually terminated, but this no longer appears to be the case.
If true, the news will come as a bitter blow to the English club as they have already released right backs Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, and seemingly expected the Brazil international to come in and fill the void.
The fullback struggled to settle in Italy, which is said to be the main reason why he decided to end his stay with the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League finalists.
Alves joined the Serie A club at the beginning of the 2016/17 campaign, and lifted two domestic trophies – the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia – during his time in Turin.
