Los Blancos, who have already sold Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez and Danilo in this transfer window, have come to an agreement with Monaco for the sale of Kylian Mbappe, according to Marca.
The 18-year-old will apparently cost €160 million (R2.4 billion), plus another €20 million (R303 million) in add-ons, which would break the current world record deal held by Paul Pogba, who joined Manchester United for €105 million (R1.6 billion) last year.
Mbappe will apparently sign a six-year contract with Los Blancos, and is set to earn €7 million (R106 million) after tax annually in Madrid.
The Monaco starlet impressed with 26 goals and 14 assists in all competitions last season, and will apparently only leave the French side for Los Blancos.
Mbappe is said to have had numerous phone conversations with Real boss Zinedine Zidane, who convinced him to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly also interested in the player, which led to Real's decision to seal the deal as quickly as possible.
