Report: Neymar Told Close Friends He'll Leave FC Barcelona
Brazilian outlets have dropped another bombshell among the "Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain" rumours, reporting that he has already told close friends he will leave FC Barcelona.
What initially sounded like a crazy rumour is picking up more and more traction, and some get the feeling that Neymar's €222 million (R3.3 billion) move to PSG could really happen.
While early reports suggesting the 24-year-old had already agreed personal terms with the French giants have since been dismissed, there is new speculation that Neymar has told close friends he is going to Les Parisiens.
According to Globo Esporte, the Selecao superstar is unhappy with the minimal Brazilian influence at the Camp Nou, and had even suggested that the Catalan giants to sign Philippe Coutinho, Paulinho or his close friend Lucas Lima.
At PSG, meanwhile, Neymar would find an existing Brazilian connection in Lucas Moura, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and recent addition Dani Alves, who has always been close to the winger.
Neymar's father, who is also his agent, is apparently on his way to Paris to discuss a potential world-record move for his son.
