Real Madrid Star's Agent Arrives For Showdown Talks Ahead Of Manchester United Move
The agent of one of Real Madrid's wantaway stars has reportedly arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu to discuss his client's proposed move to Manchester United.
According to AS, Alvaro Morata's agent, Juanma Lopez, and the player's father, Alfonso, arrived at the club around lunch-time on Monday.
Morata's representatives reportedly spoke to the club's bosses about the striker's potential transfer to United, with the meeting apparently lasting just under an hour.
It has been reported that the 24-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Red Devils, but the clubs still need to agree on a fee.
Real reportedly want €80 million (R1.2 billion) for the Spain striker, while United are said to be prepared to pay €70 million (R1.05 billion).
Morata is apparently desperate to become a regular at another club after playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema last season.
Despite often coming on from the bench, Morata scored 20 goals for Los Blancos in the 2016/17 campaign – only Cristiano Ronaldo netted more for Zinedine Zidane's squad.
