Paul Pogba: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Still A Leader At Manchester United
Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba has possibly dropped a hint as to whether or not Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be re-signing with the Old Trafford club, saying that he is still a leader in the dressing room.
The former Sweden international, who is currently recovering at the English side's training base, damaged knee ligaments during the club's Europa League campaign last season.
Ibrahimovic's contract with the Red Devils expired at the end of the 2016/17 campaign, but Pogba has let slip that the Swede still has a lot of say in the changing room.
"Zlatan is a leader, always a big leader, and he's a big leader because he's still in the team," the Frenchman said in a press conference, as quoted by ESPN.
"Even though he's not playing, he's a leader outside of the pitch. I've been playing for one season, I came here to hopefully be a leader in the team.
"That's not the objective but that's how you should be. I've been here, we won, and you want to grow up as a player and a leader as well.
"I can learn from him, from (Michael) Carrick, all the other players and become a leader."
The 35-year-old striker made 46 appearances for Jose Mourinho's side last season, scoring 28 goals in all competitions.
