French club Monaco have officially announced new signings to seemingly replace Kylian Mbappe and other players who have left or are set to leave the club in this transfer window.

The club announced the captures of Keita Balde and Stevan Jovetic on Tuesday, with the former signing until 2022, and the latter committing until 2021.

Balde, who is an FC Barcelona youth product and spent six years in Italy with Lazio, is looking forward to getting started at his new club.

"I'm very happy to be signing for AS Monaco, a club with a great history. I'm very pleased to be here and can't wait to start playing," he said via his new club's official website.

"A lot of players and friends have said good things to me about the club, the spirit in the squad and the team.

"When you get the chance to come here, you accept straight away. It's the ideal project for me. I'm very happy to be joining a strong squad, with big players who had a brilliant season last year."

Jovetic, who spent the second half of the 2016/17 season on loan at Sevilla from Inter Milan, has also spoken of his excitement at his new destination.

"I'm very happy to be here. AS Monaco is a big club that played in the semi-finals of the Champions League and won the French league title last season," the 27-year-old said.

"There are some big players in this team. That's why I chose AS Monaco."

12 French Stars Who Have Played For Barca

Monaco have sold Bernardo Silva, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Benjamin Mendy in this transfer window, while it appears that Kylian Mbappe is close to a loan deal with Paris Saint-Germain. Thomas Lemar is also said to be on his way out, with Liverpool strongly linked.

That a great player right there currently one of the powerful wiggers I ever see, his speed, body and I'm sure Barcelona are regretting losing this boy at a young age, just for putting ice inside a pillow of his team mate.
