The 24-year-old’s transfer was announced on Wednesday night, when both clubs agreed on a fee, reported to be €80 million including add-ons.
Morata has now completed his move to Stamford Bridge after successfully passing a medical, signing a five-year contract.
"I am so happy to be here. It’s an incredible emotion to be part of this big club," Morata told the club's official website.
"I am looking to work hard, score as many goals as I can and to win as many trophies as possible."
The Spain international broke three records by completing his move, becoming Chelsea’s new record signing after beating Fernando Torres €58.5 million move from Liverpool to London.
In addition, Morata is now also the most expensive Spanish player in history, also replacing Torres, as well as Los Blancos' most expensive sale, bettering Angel Di Maria's €75 million move to Manchester United.
