Confirmed: Man Utd's First Departure Revealed

By SL International - Jul 09, 2017 02:17 PM
Manchester United have already secured two new signings, but the club have now confirmed the departure of one of the Red Devils' biggest stars.

Everton have completed the signing of Wayne Rooney from the Red Devils on a two-year deal.

The 31-year-old struggled for regular game time under Jose Mourinho but he did become the club's all-time record scorer, as he now leads the club's scoring charts with 253 goals in 559 appearances.

Rooney joined United in 2004 from Everton as an 18-year-old and has gone on to win five Premier League titles, four League Cups, one FA Cup and one UEFA Champions League title.

Do you think Rooney can help Everton make the top four? Have your say in the comment section below.
