Borussia Dortmund Name Their Price For Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have put many teams on high alert after they named their price for their African superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international is expected to leave the German club in the transfer window, but his current side will only let him go if their valuation of him is met.
CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has now revealed that the Bundesliga club is willing to let their star striker go, but only if they are able to get more than £63 million (R1 billion) for him.
"We will listen to it when a club is willing to show its appreciation for Aubameyang in a financial way as well," Watzke told Bild.
"If an official bid were to reach more than £63 million, it would have to be reported as a necessary to proceed. This has not happened so far."
Aubameyang made 46 appearances for BVB last season, scoring 40 goals and assisting five further strikes in all competitions.
