The Spaniard needs to balance the books after recording the second biggest spending spree in the history of the game so far, with only Real Madrid, in 2009, having spent more in a transfer window.
In order to avoid Financial Fair Play problems, City can only have losses of €30 million (R470 million) over a three-year period, which means the Premier League side now needs to generate income from sales.
City have already received €41.4 million (R649 million) in transfer fees for the likes of Nolito, Aleksandar Kolarov, Enes Unal and Aaron Mooy, while five players left the club as free agents. However, up to seven players could still leave the Etihad Stadium, according to The Telegraph.
African starlet Kelechi Iheanacho is close to joining Leicester City for a reported fee of €28 million (R439 million), with only minor details of his contract to be confirmed.
Midfielder Fernando is said to be on the verge of joining Galatasary, while Fabian Delph has been linked with Stoke City and Wilfried Bony could return to Swansea.
