According to Transfermarkt, the names mentioned in the gallery above, among a host of others, will see their current contracts expire on 30 June 2018.

Isco's Los Blancos career has been a bit a strange one so far, as he has often been a squad player more than anything else. Lately, however, he seems to have cemented a spot in the starting XI. The playmaker has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu on more than one occasion, but it now seems almost certain Zinedine Zidane will want to keep him, and get the club to offer him an extension.

Diego Simeone's Athletico Madrid will need to get the ball rolling with some contract negotiations as he could end up losing four players next season. Jose Gimenez, Juanfran, Gabi and Fernando Torres will all be free agents in July 2018 if they do not get new deals from the Rojiblancos.

FC Barcelona are also in danger of losing a prized asset if things are not sorted out quickly, with Spain international Andres Iniesta also into the final 12 months of his contract. The midfielder has played a crucial role in the club's success over the past 10 years, and has racked up over 600 appearances for them.

Other La Liga stars who are entering the final years of their contracts, according to Transfermarkt, are Marcos Llorente, Sergio Alvarez, Benat Etxebarria and Carlos Vela.

Which of these players do you think deserve new contracts? Have your say in the comments section below.

Bale needs a manager that believer in him. #simple. Man U is not comfortable with the team they have. 1 Mourinho's players don't have confidence. 2 JM is not ready to attack teams which will lead to his team being exploited in their weakness
