10 Africans Who Could Still Move After The Window Closed

The transfer window shut last week, but here are 10 Africans – including former Arsenal, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates players – who are out of contract and could still move.

Click through the gallery above to see some Africans who could still join new clubs.

Kolo Toure is one of the biggest African stars who failed to find a new club this window. The former Arsenal and Manchester City defender, who was part of Celtic's title-winning team in Scotland, remains a free agent and could still join a new club.

Marouane Chamakh is another former Gunners player who is still in search of a new team. The Moroccan was last employed by Championship side Cardiff City, but only made three appearances for them in 2016/17.

Former Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool striker David N'Gog has failed to find a new team after his contract with Greek side Panionios expired. The 28-year-old scored four goals in Greece last season before a serious knee injury kept him sidelined. N'Gog, who played for France at youth level, but was approached to represent Cameroon, could perhaps secure a new club once he returns to full fitness.

Kagisho Dikgacoi is South Africa's most valuable free agent after his contract with Golden Arrows came to an end. The 32-year-old made 11 appearances for Arrows last season but is still on the hunt for a new team.

Similarly, former Kaizer Chiefs striker Edward Manqele and former Orlando Pirates players Tlou Segolela and Collins Mbesuma are all still looking for new teams.

Note: Patrick Phungwayo and Edward Manqele have both joined Free State Stars since the article was published.

Note: This list was compiled based on Transfermarkt information.
