Yaya Toure Highlights One Area City Need To Improve On
African superstar Yaya Toure has highlighted one area he feels Manchester City need to improve on if they are to be successful in the upcoming season.
Pep Guardiola's side ended the previous campaign without any silverware, something that will have been new for the Spaniard, who had won a trophy in every season since he first took over the hot seat FC Barcelona in 2008.
The 34-year-old midfielder feels his team needs to be more clinical in the next campaign, or they could suffer the same fate.
"We need to start the season quickly. If we have the chances, we have to score," Toure said in a press conference, as quoted by the Daily Telegraph.
"We have to show that killer instinct and be more clinical. When the chances come we need to score.
"It's the job of the manager to find the right team and right balance as well because we are very wide and open when we play.
"You saw this against United, two or three counter-attacks and they scored two goals.
"We play proper, classic football, but sometimes if we don't score, then it is going to be difficult."
The Ivorian has made 299 appearances for the Citizens since joining in 2010, scoring 79 goals in all competitions.
