Reports: Pep Guardiola Furious With Vincent Kompany
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is said to be furious with captain Vincent Kompany and could consider selling the Belgian.
The Citizens thrashed Liverpool 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this weekend, a match that was impacted by Sadio Mane's first-half red card.
Kompany was unavailable for selection due to an injury he picked up on international duty, and according to the Daily Mirror, the Belgian's latest knock has made Guardiola angry.
The 31-year-old played all three of his team's previous league clashes, but was believed to have picked up a calf injury while away with his national team.
The centre back played 90 minutes with his injury against Gibraltar last week, which is said to be the main reason for the manager's irritation.
Kompany has struggled with injuries over the past two years at City, and featured just 15 times last season.
