Reports: Manchester United Make Another Bid For Real Madrid Star
Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United has reportedly launched a new bid for a Real Madrid superstar.
Reports in this transfer window claimed the Red Devils were looking at the possibility of luring Gareth Bale back to England.
Mourinho even admitted his interest in the Welshman, who he said he would attempt to sign if Zinedine Zidane had no plans for the player at Real this season.
According to Don Balon, United have made a fresh approach for Bale, in an offer said to be around £92 million (R1.5 billion).
The report suggests the Spanish giants could be tempted to sell the Welsh attacker in this transfer window, as the club could make profit on what they spent on him in 2013.
Bale has impressive numbers to his name since his arrival at Real, a club for who he has scored 68 goals in 154 matches.
The 28-year-old has won three UEFA Champions League titles and one La Liga trophy since joining Los Blancos, while he has lifted a further six trophies with the club.
United have started their Premier League campaign well so far, winning all three of their games without conceding a single goal, while Bale has scored one and assisted another two in four games this season.
