Jose Mourinho: We Don't Miss Paul Pogba
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that the Red Devils do not miss injured French superstar Paul Pogba.
The midfielder has already missed five games for United this season, and is also set to miss matches against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and two fixtures against Benfica in the UEFA Champions League, after injuring his hamstring against Basel in the European competition last month.
Following United's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, Mourinho was asked if his team is missing Pogba.
"We never miss the players that are injured," the Portuguese tactician answered, according to the Daily Express.
"That is our way of thinking. They are injured, we don't think about them.
"It is an opportunity and a moment for others to step up and get the chance, so I think that is good.
"When we moan all the time about injuries, it looks like we don't trust the other people, and we have to."
Pogba has played six matches for the Red Devils so far this season, scoring twice and assisting two further strikes.
