Former Chelsea Star: Why Jose Mourinho Will Win The Premier League With Manchester United

A former Chelsea star has tipped his former manager Jose Mourinho to lift the 2017/18 Premier League title with Manchester United.

Reports: Chelsea Star Tells Zidane He Wants To Play For Real

Hernan Crespo, a former Argentina international, knows what it takes to win the title as he won it with the Portuguese tactician in the 2005/06 campaign.

The 42-year-old believes that Mourinho's track record in the league and the ability to sort teams out in the second season of his reign will give the Red Devils the upper hand in this campaign.

"I think Manchester United will win the Premier League because Mourinho has never failed in the second season," Crespo said in a Q&A via the Daily Mirror.

"Jose is one of the best in the world. He's made history everywhere with Porto, Inter and now he can do it with Manchester United.

"It's difficult to explain, but when you play with Mourinho, you feel like the best striker in the world. There are two different people with Mourinho.

"The one in front of the camera and another Mourinho in the dressing room. I prefer the Mourinho in the dressing room, he's friendlier.

"I really like his method of training, his motivation and his passion."

Crespo also gave his prediction for the top four, and why he thinks it will pan out this way.

"I think the top four will be Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. The best managers in the world are in the Premier League now. If you think about Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Mourinho, it is a very good championship now," he added.

"Mauricio Pochettino has worked hard to put Tottenham on another level but they are missing something."

Are These Mourinho's Five Alternatives For Bale & Perisic?

Thats wat I like about this Epl, it is unpredictable u-Conte unamanga this time around hes not gonna get it that easily his team is bit dismantled with Hazard not if he will still be there Morata not having a proven track record Matic gone many fullbacks being signed,Pep on the other side is so used to coach already dominating teams which does not happen in the premiership sizobona
