A Brazilian has become the most prolific striker in Premier League history, bettering the scoring rates of Thierry Henry and Luis Suarez, while an African sits in third place among the top 10.

Gabriel Jesus has impressed since completing his move to Manchester City in January, with the Brazilian starlet having scored 11 goals in 977 minutes for Pep Guardiola's side so far, which means he has scored one goal every 88.82 minutes, as reported by the Daily Mail.
In so doing, he overtook teammate Sergio Aguero as the most prolific scorer in the league's history. The Argentine has netted 127 times overall, and scores at a rate of one goal every 108.44 minutes.
Kelechi Iheanacho, who left the Citizens to join Leicester City in the recent transfer window, follows in third spot. The Nigerian has scored his 12 goals at a rate of one strike every 113.92 minutes, and is followed by Harry Kane, who needed 119.53 minutes per goal he has scored in the English top flight so far.
Other famous names among the 10 most prolific goalscorers in Premier League history list include Thierry Henry, who struck his 175 goals at a rate of one every 121.79 minutes, as well as Luis Suarez and Robin van Persie. The Uruguayan scored one goal every 138.8 minutes (69 overall), while the Dutchman netted one every 139.69 minutes (144 overall).
