Muller Unhappy Under Ancelotti?
Thomas Muller Unhappy Under Carlo Ancelotti?
Bayern Munich superstar Thomas Muller, who has been linked with Manchester United in the past, is believed to be uncertain of his future under manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Germany international, who was left on the bench for Bayern's Bundesliga clash against Werder Bremen this past weekend, has played just 78 league minutes of the Bavarians' first two games of the campaign.
Muller has now vented his frustrations about his role under the former Real Madrid boss.
"Well, I don't really know what the qualities are that the coach wants to see," he told Eurosport.
"Obviously, mine do not seem to be in 100% demand."
Bayern legend Lothar Matthaus has also spoken about Muller's role under Ancelotti.
"Muller isn't a No. 7, a No. 9, nor a No. 10. He is everything and in between," he said.
"But Carlo Ancelotti thinks and selects his team very strictly according to a player's position."
Muller, who has been targeted by the Red Devils a few times in recent years, scored just nine goals across all competitions under the Italian last season, compared to his 32 strikes the campaign before under Pep Guardiola.
