Leipzig Drop Points At Home, Schalke Win At Bremen

RB Leipzig 2-2 Borussia Monchengladbach

RB Leipzig missed the chance to move into the top four after they drew 2-2 with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Timo Werner opened the scoring for the hosts after 17 minutes before Thorgan Hazard leveled matters from the penalty spot on 25 minutes.

Jean-Kévin Augustin restored Leipzig's lead a few minutes later but Lars Stindl bagged the equaliser just after the hour mark.

Leipzig also ended the game with 10 men after Naby Keita was sent off in the 83rd minute.

Werder Bremen 1-2 Schalke

Leon Goretzka scored late for Schalke to seal a 2-1 away win over Werder on Saturday afternoon.

Lamine Sane opened the scoring for Bremen in the 20th minute but only for Milos Veljkovic to score an own goal two minutes later to bring Schalke level.

Goretzka sealed the win seven minutes before full-time.

Eintracht Frankfurt 1-2 Augsburg 

Philipp Max and Caiuby handed Augsburg a 2-1 away win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon.

Max opened the scoring in the 20th minute and Caiuby doubled the lead in the 77th minute.

Luka Jovic pulled a goal back two minutes later but the hosts could not stage a comeback. 

Stuttgart 1-0 Wolfsburg 

Chadrac Akolo scored the only goal of the match to hand Stuttgart a slender 1-0 win over Wolfsburg on Saturday afternoon.
