Free State Stars have made their second signing of 2013 after completing a deal with Danny Venter. The 25-year-old has been snapped up from cross-town rivals, Bloemfontein Celtic.

The Klerksdorp-born player had a frustrating spell with Celtic this season owing to a lack of game time and is hoping to resurrect his career under Steve Komphela at Ea Lla Koto.

“I am excited that I have signed for Ea Lla Koto. They are a fantastic team and they play my kind of football and I have no doubt that I will enjoy my best football in this team,” Venter told the club’s official website.

The Bethlehem-based outfit has already signed former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United striker Fikru Lemessa.

The side is expected to add a few more players to their roster during the current transfer window.
