The Mamelodi Sundowns U15 side has been drawn in the same group with Manchester United Premier Cup hosts, Manchester United, as well as Feyenoord, Tigres UANL and Sanfrecce Hiroshima in this year’s competition.

The Siya crew reported yesterday (Tuesday) that the Sundowns’ youngsters are in the United Kingdom for the MUPC. The Brazilians are in group c.

The games started today (Wednesday) and are scheduled to end on Saturday. The final two teams will get an opportunity to play at Old Trafford where the MUPC champions of the world will be crowned.

The MUPC teams for 2014 and groups are:

Group A: Chelsea FC, Malmo FF, AS Roma, Waitakere City FC and CA Rosario Central.  

Group B: Hertha BSC Berlin, Valencia, Joongdong Middle School, Assumption College Thonburi and Weston FC.

Group C: Manchester United, Feyenoord, Tigres UANL, Mamelodi Sundowns and Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Group D: FC Dynamo Moscow, AKA Sturm Graz, Shandong Luneng, SC Internacional and Right to Dream Academy.

Soccer Laduma would like to wish Sundowns’ youngsters everything of the best during the tournament.
