SuperSport United youngster Dean Patricio has landed himself a professional contract at the club after impressing in their youth ranks.

The 18-year-old, who has already spent time with the likes of Ajax Amsterdam and Fulham in his short career so far, has impressed coach Gavin Hunt and his technical team.

Patricio started his career with the Balfour Alexandra Football Club academy, although spent a period of time with Ajax Cape Town. Now that he has broken into the professional ranks at Matsatsantsa, he will be hoping to make his next objective to break into the first team.

SuperSport have had a good record of raising talented young players over the years, and Patricio will no doubt be looking to follow in the footsteps of Ronwen Williams, George Maluleka and Kermit Erasmus, who all came through the club’s junior ranks.

The midfielder has already represented South Africa at youth level and will be keen to go on to bigger and better things.
