Nyasha Mushekwi is confident that he will improve his game during his loan stint at KV Oostende in the Belgium.
The Zimbabwean, who secured a loan move to the Belgian Pro League outfit in August, started his overseas career on a high with a goal against Zulte-Waregem in his first game for Oostende.
“The Belgian league is strong. The so-called small teams do beat the so-called big teams on match days. So it’s a good league in that respect. The team I play for has just been promoted from the Second Division. It’s carrying the underdog tag in the league. They are still trying to prove themselves. But we’ve got a very good team. We’ve played six games so far. We have 24 more games to go,” said Mushekwi.
Mushekwi has also played for CAPS United in the Zimbabwean Premier League in his career. Sundowns fans can remember him for the six goals he scored for the side during the 24-0 drubbing of Powerlines FC in 2011/12 Nedbank Cup.
