Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Eduardo Ferreira, has penned a one-year deal with newly-promoted PSL side, Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The Siya crew reported last week that the 29-year-old was on the verge of signing for the club, and it has now been confirmed that the deal has been completed.

Story: Aces To Sign Ferreira?

Ferreira’s agent, Ryan Hartslief, explained to the crew, “Eduardo has signed a one-year deal with Aces and is really happy to be back in South Africa and excited at the project that the club are putting together.”

The Brazilian left Sundowns last year after a difficult spell at Chloorkop to spend some time in his home continent playing for the likes of America de Cali and Ratchaburi.

Ferreira is one of a number of signings for Clive Barker’s side in the current transfer window as he hopes to help the club survive the drop after gaining promotion to South Africa’s top-flight last season.
