Orlando Pirates development product Nhlakanipho Ntuli has been allowed to train with the club’s first team as he prepares to make a return to Europe for further advancement in his career.

Ntuli is on the verge of concluding a big move to FC Twente in the Netherlands, after leaving a lasting impression during his trials with the side in 2012. A source in the know confirmed with the Siya crew that Ntuli is part of the Bucs first team training under coach Roger de Sa and his technical team.

“The player is training with the first team of Orlando Pirates. He started on Monday and even played for the team in the (Gauteng) Reserve League against SuperSport United. He scored the second goal as Pirates drew the game 2-2,” said the source.

It was previously reported by Soccer-Laduma that Pirates have entered into a programme that will see the youngster co-developed by both the PSL defending champions and the Dutch side, until he turns 18, whereafter he will be able to sign for the Eredivisie club.

Ntuli is expected to remain with Pirates until the end of the month and set to leave for Holland in February. The KZN-born player, who will be turning 17 in February, is expected to sign a long-term contract with the Eredivisie side when he turns 18, in 2014.

@Ezimnyama, Thats why the Zambian team is where they are today. Their under 14 play in under 17, the under 17 play under 19-...and most under 23 are in the National squad.

age cheating is different from where I reside. In my location, a 13 year old player is no longer considered in the U/15,We cheat his age and say he is 15 and eligible to play in the U/17 section. Come retirement, everyone thinks you are 35 while you know that you are 32 or 33,in this way our playerz will grow fast and be eager to learn basic football techniques at a young age. This is exactly what Giggs,Scholes,Van De Sar did, they are two yearz younger than we think, that is why they stil have what it takes to play anada 2 seasons

South African Premier Soccer league

It was a frustrating night in the Absa Premiership for Kaizer Chiefs as they could not breach the MP Black Aces’ defence no matter how hard they tried, and try they did, but all in vein as Miguel Timm scored in the 94th minute to hand the side from Mpumalanga a 1-0 win in the league match at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.
