Kaizer Chiefs’ proposed link-up with English Premier League giants Manchester United has fallen through and will no longer be happening.
The Siya crew recently reported that the current PSL log leaders were looking into the possibility of sending a delegation of staff, and possibly players, to United’s training facility, Carrington, in an attempt to learn from the club.
However, sources have now revealed to the crew that, due to The Red Devils’ busy schedule and other factors, the trip has been called off.
The news will surely come as a disappointment, as the trip to the English giants would have been beneficial to the delegation.
Chiefs have had a great start to their first season under coach Stuart Baxter and will be hoping that they can continue their fine form when they return to PSL action once this year’s Africa Cup of Nations has come to an end.
