Wits Starlet Jetting Out To U20 World Cup
Reeve Frosler Will Leave For The U20 World Cup Tomorrow
Bidvest Wits starlet, Reeve Frosler, has managed to get his bread buttered on both sides, winning the Absa Premiership and being given leave to go to the U20 World Cup.
There was a war of words between SAFA and the Clever Boys over the availability of both Frosler and Mahlambi, with the club stating that they needed the players available for their title run-in.
Now, having won the Absa Premiership, Wits are eager to let the teenager make the trip to South Korea, and he will be hoping to even try and get there before the first game on Sunday.
The Siya crew has been informed that the 19-year-old will leave South Africa tomorrow and while he might arrive in time for the opening game against Japan, it remains to be seen whether he will be deemed ready to play given his flight time. Mahlambi, however, will not be going due to an injury.
Amajita face Japan at 10h00 South African time before taking on Italy on Wednesday.
