The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations will get underway on Saturday, January 19, when Bafana Bafana take on Cape Verde in the tournament opener at the National Stadium (FNB Stadium) in Soweto.
Gordon Igesund has been preparing his squad for the African footballing extravaganza over the past few months and after naming his final 23-man squad on December 30, 2012, the coach has been focusing on what is believed to be South Africa’s best squad.
Going into the tournament as the host nation, Bafana has faced a barrage of criticism, however the squad has remained positive and the mood within the camp is up-beat.
Soccer-Laduma is urging all Mzansi football fans to get behind the national team and express their support for the squad.

I remember when I was still on facebook,you just started playing there and we used to interact with you on how you wished the selectors would get to give that league a recognition and see how you guys progress there so that you'd be given a chance even though you never played in the PSL,all of a sudden Terror is in the Confed squad,WC and the rest just became history.All the best Mterana bro
