Your Afcon Message For Khune
17 January 2013
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations will get underway on Saturday, January 19, when Bafana Bafana take on Cape Verde in the tournament opener at the National Stadium (FNB Stadium) in Soweto.
Gordon Igesund has been preparing his squad for the African footballing extravaganza over the past few months and after naming his final 23-man squad on December 30, 2012, the coach has been focusing on what is believed to be South Africa’s best squad.
Going into the tournament as the host nation, Bafana has faced a barrage of criticism, however the squad has remained positive and the mood within the camp is up-beat.
Soccer-Laduma is urging all Mzansi football fans to get behind the national team and express their support for the squad.
The players regularly visit Soccer-Laduma’s web and mobi-site, and we want you to leave your personal messages of encouragement for your favourite player below. Go on and voice your support for Bafana Bafana.
Leave your message for Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, allowing him to read your post:

Oh my very best player who i pin my hopes on not taking anything away from other squad players but the nation's hope are in this 25 year old's shoulders, there is only one point he must improve on,he is a good shot stopper, gud organisational skills, good distribution, good ariel power and timing but the same cannot be said about his TEMPER!
