Yeye: We All Responsible To Score
11 January 2013
Bafana Bafana midfielder Reineilwe "Yeye" Letsholonyane believes that the national team’s goal scoring responsibilities should not fall completely on the strikers, but that the entire team should contribute.
South Africa lost 1-0 to Norway on Tuesday at the Cape Town Stadium, in an international friendly, and although Gordon Igesund’s side did create chances, they were unable to find the back of net.
Tomorrow Bafana host Algeria in an international friendly at the Orlando Stadium and the team will look to be more clinical in the final third. Yeye says that a win against the North Africans is important as they look gain some momentum going into the African Cup of Nations.
"It is not fair to only blame the strikers because all of us as players we have the responsibility to score and help the team win. Midfielders and defenders missed chances against Norway and this time around we all have to go for goals.
“We have to finish on a top note so that we go into the Cape Verde game full of confidence. We need goals and a win on Saturday," the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder expressed.
South Africa open the Afcon on January 19, when they take on Cape Verde at the National Stadium (FNB Stadium) in Soweto.

funny thing abt zebras is that they have the most fun making fun of Bucs players eg. Myeni and ridicule his looks but wen its one of theirs they play the f@gget card hehehe but anyway i still maintain that mubi-mubi is the best we have in BB midfield he duz it all defend attack passes but he's alone and KG is just a passenger Furman wud be a better option as a partner. Goals win games, it doesnt matter who score them. If strikers whr the only ppl respnsbl for scoring every team a start with a striker form the goalkeep to the forwards, hence most succeful teams r thse whom every play has a chance or given a chance to score. Just go and score more goals than ur opposition and make us proud

SL is awash with f@ggots. I always thought football is a mans sport until I was disproved by this f@ggs. Seems like these f@ggs are having wet dreams about yeye no wonder they're fixated on his looks.

You are a good player bt you don't know anything about scoring in bafana, you only score in fixed matches like the one against Gautamela.even stayitayi would have scored in that match
