Wits Opt Against Signing Maluka
01 February 2012
News reaching the Siya crew is that Wits will not be making any attempt to sign Leroy Maluka, although it was reported that he had impressed in his trial with The Students.
Wits coach, Roger de Sa, confirmed to the Siya crew that the former Ikapa Sporting player has been allowed to leave. “He is a good guy and he has the great attitude but he is a bit similar to what we already have,” said De Sa.
The midfielder is looking to secure a contract with a PSL side as he aims to continue from where he left off in Finland, where he was playing for Turun Palloseura. With the player able to join on a free transfer, he is not constricted by the close of the transfer window.
Word is that Santos could be his next destination, as the Cape side continue to strengthen their ranks.

It's going to take Wits many years to get a star like Myeni! First it was Zane Moosa, after he went it took long for them before they got Junaid Hartley and nobody has really shined since, up until they got Myeni.
