Trio Set For Ajax Exit
17 January 2013
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Ajax Cape Town are set to let go of Sander Westerveld, Aiden Jenniker and Keamogetse Wolff, with the trio being deemed surplus to requirements at the club.
The players have already been told that they should begin their search for a new club as they are not going to be part of the club’s setup come the new season.
Goalkeeper Westerveld has been performing poorly for the Urban Warriors since signing last year and, though the club tried to tolerate him, he was recently dropped in favour of Sean Roberts.
Otherwise the duo in defenders, Jenicker and Wolff, are to be placed out on loan or sold, should the right offer come in for their services.
With only 14 days left of the current transfer window, Ajax are still looking to strengthen their squad in order to help them climb out of their low position on the PSL log and achieve a respectable finish at the end of the season.
