Teko Boost For Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns have been boosted by the return of captain Teko Modise, who will be available for the Telkom Knockout final against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday, December 1.
The former Orlando Pirates player was doubtful for the league cup final, having missed his team’s 1-0 league win over Siwelele last weekend. Modise was nursing an injury on his right leg, however has since been declared available for selection.
Modise told the Siya crew that coach Johan Neeskens has got a strong squad available for selection. The South African international is confident leading up to the final, with the aim of lifting the trophy.
“Yes I am ready to play on Saturday and I have played in many cup finals before, but have not won anything so I would love to play and lift the trophy in the Telkom Knockout,” said Modise.
“You know even them (in last weekend’s league game), they had some players out through injury and suspension, so did we, and this time around it will be a different ball game.
“We will go out there and fight to lift the cup,” concluded the Bafana Bafana midfielder.

@juju28: Thanx! You know what I hate is unfair play like using muthi to confuse other players & winning by the help of a referee. Otherwise I dnt hate any team or player becoz Downs can not compete alone; we need other teams. Tortoise magic is creature abuse & thakathing!

Hey people I was listening 2 neeskens ( press-conference) speech, I must say neeskens is a very knowledgeable person in football-applications in wich I think he could be a very good replacement of ( kenneth-makhanya) at admin-management period.as the assistant( jan_derks) he should b taken to development while coaches that knows s.a football,structure and philosophy like pitso,legodi and kompela must b considered to take charge.

Ngwende, dats da mentality of most S.A diski followers broer....if u check da meaning of da luck, u wil find dat its a sequence dat occurs accidentally nd sumtyms dat has a slim chance of it repeating itslf....nw, diz so-called fans here had da audacity if say OP won da treble by luck nd yet even after we REPEATED da feat, dey STILL DELIBERATELY HARDENED THEIR HEARTS ND STILL PROUNCED DA FEAT AS "FLUKE"!!! @Juju28: The majority of ppl hate Downs: how can you explain it when Downs win they say it was just luck or the team (celtics) played B team; but b4 the match ppl were saying Downs will loose. If we loose they celebrate as if they got increase in their salaries. Juju most bloggers do say they hate Downs they wish to be relegated- you might be the only exception. But we dnt care Downs is in the final.
