Sukazi Denies Pelembe-Pirates Link

04 January 2012

Less than 48 hours after the Siya crew revealed that Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mabhuti Khenyeza had signed a pre-contract with SuperSport United, the crew received reports that Elias Pelembe would also be leaving the Chloorkop-based club.

A Soccer-Laduma source close to the Orlando Pirates camp confided in the Siya crew and revealed that the Mozambican-born winger has signed a pre-contract with last season's treble winners.

However his agent, Tim Sukazi of Quality Talent Sports, has come out and rubbished Pelembe’s link to the Sea Robbers. He said that Pelembe is still in Mozambique on holiday and that they are yet to sign anything.

"I have also heard people saying that and I don't know where they are getting it. Elias is in Mozambique and he has not signed anything with Pirates. You should know that some journalists are fans of certain teams and they are trying just to put pressure on some team’s management on players, they (journalists) want to join those teams.

“I am telling you there is nothing and when something happens whether at Sundowns or somewhere else, I will let you know," Sukazi concluded.

Why not going to Europe- playing for the team which participate in Uefa Champions League.....have a chance to be grouped with Barca, Madrid,Man City,Man United,Bayern Munich,Chelsea...play them...swap jersey with Messi,Xavi,Iniesta,CR7,Ozil,Kaka,Alonso,Yaya,Silva,Kun,Rooney,Young,Nani,Robben,Ribery,Muller,Drogba,Mata,Sturridge,Torres........... If he chose to play for Bucs, participate in African Champions League...want to go to Tunisia-go to France first.......Shame. Choice is yours Dominguez.

The reason why he is leaving is bcus Downs can't affort him any more and if I remember the best paid player is at Bucs as we speak and meaning Pele-pele won't be a problem. Further more most decorated player in the PSL is at Bucs and big players are remember by achievements,so is Pelembe?and we don't expect the agents to agree that he is heating to the land of living dead, bcus this unprofessional clubs may send him to play with unwanted players.we want him in good shape

@ makgorometsa, FYI, Palembe has won the absa premier league twice with supersport- once voted the psl player of the year- the only player to have won more league titles than him at pirates is klate- at chiefs- NOBODY..... obviously you comment for the sake of commenting but please do equip yourself with some knowledge.

Sundowns should denounce their interest in retaining palembe if 20million worth of salaries is anything to go by. This move would significantly drop from 20 million to 10 million at most should orlando pirates be interested in signing him.
