SuperSport United will be aiming for a winning start to the second-half of the season against Free State Stars as they look to keep pressure on leaders Sundowns.

United will hope that the PSL break would have helped them ditch their poor form toward the end of last year which saw them concede first place on the table to the Brazilians.

It is not expected to be an easy match for Matsatsantsa, with Stars having won all of their practice matches during the break.

United lost their final match of last year away to Bloemfontein Celtic while Ea Lla Koto went down 2-0 to Sundowns.

The hosts will have to adapt to life without Anthony Laffor who departed from the club in January for Sundowns, but they still have enough quality in the ranks keep their title ambitions on track.
