Premiership champions Orlando Pirates aim to end leaders SuperSport United's unbeaten run when the pair clash at Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening.
Bucs, up against Wits in next weekend's Telkom Knockout final, trail Matsatsantsa by 10 points, with both outfits recording wins in midweek.
The Sea Robbers ousted slumping Ajax Cape Town 1-0, while United beat title rivals Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 - leaving Gavin Hunt's men three points ahead of Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns at the summit.
Pirates' technical area will be under scrutiny tonight following reports of tension between head coach Julio Leal and one of his assistants Teboho Moloi.
In team news, dynamic midfielder Oupa Manyisa has failed to recover from a hamstring problem but left-back Ruben Cloete has shaken off an ankle knock.
The visitors, meanwhile, are boosted by the return from suspension of Bafana Bafana centre-back Morgan Gould.
