Starting XI: Chiefs v Swallows

18 February 2012

Gordon Igesund

ABSA Premiership

Date: 18 February 2012

Teams: Moroka Swallows – Kaizer Chiefs

Venue: FNB Stadium

Referee: Gabriel Sekopo

Kaizer Chiefs will be looking for a major improvement when they take on Moroka Swallows in the Soweto Derby on Saturday evening.

The Amakhosi scraped a point thanks to a 1-1 draw with Jomo Cosmos in midweek, but now need to get their title challenge back on track.

They are still without Siphiwe Tshabalala, while midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha is suspended. Reneilwe Letsholonyana remains sidelined with his long-term leg injury.

The Dube Birds meanwhile edged Santos 3-2 in midweek and coach Gordon Igesund is hoping the winning momentum can continue.

The Birds welcome Luvhengo Mungomeni back from suspension.

This is how they lineup:

Chiefs: Itumeleng Khune, Lawrence Molekwane, Keegan Ritchie, Lincoln Zvayisa, Dominic Isaacs, Lucky Baloyi, Willard Katsande, George Lebese, Mandla Masango, Bernard Parker, Lehlohonolo Majoro.

Swallows: Greg Etafia, Gilbert Mapemba, Luvhengo Mungomeni, Ashraf Hendricks, James Mayinga, Giorgi Nergadze, Lefa Tsutsulupa, David Mathebule, Joseph Makhanya, Bennett Chenene, Siyabonga Nomvete.
