Stars To Decide On Contract Extensions

Platinum Stars coach, Owen da Gama, has insisted that no decision has been made on the players whose contracts are coming to an end.

The Siya crew had been informed that some players at the club, most notably their captain Wellington Sambu, would not be offered new contracts when they expire in June. 

 

However, Da Gama told the crew, “We want to sit down with management, we haven’t given any recommendations to them yet. There are quite a lot of players whose contracts we have not spoken about yet, we concentrated on the window and now our main focus is to get out of the position that we’re in.”

 

Dikwena had a tough first half to their PSL campaign this season and have really struggled away from home. They currently find themselves fourth bottom of the log and only three points clear of the second relegation place occupied by Vladislav Heric’s Black Leopards.
