Stars In No Rush On Moloto
30 January 2012
Platinum Stars general manager, Jason Raine, explained to the Siya crew that they are in no rush to make a decision on Tshepo Moloto.
As recently revealed on the Soccer-Laduma web and mobi-site, the former Jomo Cosmos defender is training with Stars in the hope of signing a contract.
“He is training but there’s no rush on him because he is a free agent. We don’t need to register him during the transfer window to sign him,” said Raine.
Moloto had struggled for game time at Cosmos since the club’s return to the PSL at the start of the current campaign, and was subsequently released.
Stars recently signed Lucas Thwala, Patrick Malokase and Chiukepo Msowoya on loan from Orlando Pirates. Raine confirmed that all three players have arrived at the club and have already started training.
