Shongwe Set For Cosmos Deal
28 November 2012
Former AmaZulu striker, Myron Shongwe, is still training at Jomo Cosmos, however the club is yet to make a decision on his future.
The 31-year-old has been on trial with the National First Division side for the past few weeks, with a view of landing himself a new professional contract.
According to the latest information received by the Siya crew, the former Dynamos player has been impressive during his trial with the team. A source in the know, within the Ezenkosi camp, informed the Siya crew that Shongwe has been impressive at training and he believes that his signing is imminent.
Cosmos are in need of some experienced campaigners as the Jomo Sono-led outfit aim to challenge for PSL promotion. The team is currently sat in eighth place on the NFD table, with 11 points, after seven rounds of league action.
The club already has the likes of Lethola Mofokeng, Madoda Motha and Aleni Lebyane in their current squad, however would welcome Shongwe’s attacking ability.

Hai hai hai bra jomo don't buy or better-yet give myron-shongwe a run at your team man, if cosmos want strikers they must get atusayei, nyondo and ndulula ( on loan atleast than to waste money on this useless player! I just hate evrything about shongwe-myron.what a waste of human material

MONNA WA KA WA LEKHOSI, we are mixing raw talent and experience. That is the way to go. Sir Jomo Sono is clever unlike Kaizer Motaung.

The Mzansi's'finest team, Jomo Cosmos, is doing the right thing. To beef up the club with its own money unlike that club who was eaten and humuliated by crocodiles last week, which used charity money to beef itself with players like Mathoho.
