Risser For Chippa Trial

Namibian international striker Wilko Risser is set to attend a trial at Chippa United, as he aims to land himself a PSL contract.
As recently reported by the Siya crew on the Soccer-Laduma web and mobi-site, the 30-year-old has been in the country for the past two weeks, attending a trial at Bloemfontein Celtic, however has since left the Free State.
The latest information on the player is that he has jetted into Cape Town with a view of attending a trial with the Chilli Boys. A source within the Chippa camp confirmed that Risser will be training with the team ahead of their league game against Orlando Pirates next week.
“He is already in Cape Town. He arrived this morning (Thursday). There is a brief team meeting about him later today and we’ll take it from there. There is a guy who called and informed us about the player. We looked at him on YouTube and we liked what we saw,” said the source.
Risser is set to join Prince Olomu in trying to impress coach Farouk Abrahams and his technical team.
